moisturizer advice?

I need the internetz help! I want your recommendations on moisturizers. I’m in the market for a new one, and frankly I’m tired of buying them, using them for a month, hating them, and having to try another one, and another one…you get it.

I just don’t have the time or the money to experiment right now! I don’t know if I should stay with Loreal Future E, which is the one I’ve used for the last few months. I didn’t hate it and I didn’t love it, but it’s better than anything else I’ve ever used. I was also thinking about trying Cetaphil’s facial moisturizer since I like the cleanser but I really want to know if there’s something better out there I’m missing.

Here’s my criteria:

So can you help me? At least tell me what you use, and why you like it? Help a sister out!

Aveno Ultra calming. has an SPF. non greasy. best ever. Been using it for the last two years on a recommendation from a friend that’s a dermatologist. Love. It.

You can get it in target; it’s a little pricey but worth it.

I was actually going to suggest Aveeno too (I can’t remember if it’s the claming one that I use.) I have oily skin & need one that isn’t greasy. I haven’t found one that I’d consider perfect, but Aveeno is pretty good.

Aveeno makes good ones. I also tend to like Neutrogena. I’ve used Cetaphil (I love the cleanser) but find it too think for my face, plus it has no spf so I have to slather on something else. I tend to splurge on moisturizer, though and be frugal on all the stuff that gets washed down the drain. Lately, I’ve been using LaRoche Posay’s Anthelios SPF lotion, which is avail in CVS but is more like $40 It’s really good and blocks the whole spectrum.

Moisturizer is something I struggle with and still haven’t found something I love. Even worse is that I have to change what I’m using seasonally. Winter requires something more moisturizing while in summer I need serious help with acne and oil control.

    Some things I’ve tried:
Aveeno Ultra Calming was OK during the winter months.
Philosophy Hope in a Jar turned my face into a grease pit but was excellent for my mom’s aged and dry skin.
Philosophy Hope in a Bottle was great during the summer but my skin dried out when February rolled around.
Right now I’m using the moisturizer that is part of Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Complete Acne Therapy System. It didn’t control the grease as much as I would have liked during the summer so I’m holding out hope as the colder, drier weather comes along.

Ditto the Aveeno. I am a high-priced cosmetics junkie, but Aveeno is perfect for my budget and it works just as well as the fancy crap.

I love you girls!! I hoping to get out to Target tomorrow and I will definitely be checking out the Aveeno moisturizers. I never would have thought of that, thank you!

Aveeno would have been my suggestion, too. Have you tried a bar of Cetaphil (non-deodorant and unscented) soap for the rest of your body? It’s terrific.

Aveeno Ultra Calming is tops on my list too. I love it summer and winter. I love all Aveeno products especially the stress relief line. I think it really works!!

I’ll have to try the Aveeno too. I need a heavy cream now that I’m older though, so it might not be enough. I can’t stand any scent, so I use the Oil of Olay cream for sensitive skin and it works fine. Too bad that it makes you break out, as it’s so affordable, but I don’t think Aveeno is much more expensive.
