escape

Sometimes you just need to go to the beach.

Josh and I went to Maine for a couple of days to hang out with some of my family. It was nice to play a little hooky from work!

On the way back home today we turned 3 hour trip into a 6 hour one by detouring to the beach. We had no schedule to follow and since Damon is in Pittsburgh for a couple of days we had no reason to hurry back.

It was a perfect day to play.

There is nothing that I can think of that is more important than a trip to the beach.

Ooooo, I’m so jealous!!! I miss the beach like crazy. We’re planning a beach vacation for next summer, so I have to wait a WHOLE YEAR… WAAAAH! Glad you got a little beach day with your kiddo. Those memories really last forever.

As much as I love living in Vemont, I sure do miss the ocean! We’ll get a sneak in this summer visiting an aunt in Southern maine. Great pictures and playing hookey from work is VERY important!

Fun! Isn’t it crazy how the kids will get in that ice cold water like it’s nothing?! Crazy and fun to watch. 🙂
